Aight y’all, this is a new series. Every Saturday you’ll get to hear an original song - some I’ve already recorded, some are brand new. This one is called Let Me Be Strong, which I wrote about staying for two weeks in the hospital with our brand new baby boy. I was frustrated not being able to do anything to fix his illness, and having to drive an hour both ways every day switching nights at the hospital with my wife. The day I started writing this song, I had met another family whose son had been staying in the hospital for 8 months, and I felt ashamed for complaining. I wrote this song as a reminder to be grateful, and also to give hope to anyone in the thick of suffering - especially when it’s your children. Just let us be strong so we can keep up the fight. Love y’all.
